Privacy Policy
Announced: November 4, 2026 · Effective: November 11, 2026
DANCOMPANY (the "Company") provides GTag, a digital business card service (the "Service"), in compliance with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other applicable laws, and processes your personal information as described below. This English version is a translation; if it differs from the Korean version, the Korean version prevails.
1. Personal information we collect
- Sign-up and sign-in: email address. With social sign-in (Google, Apple, Kakao, Naver), the email address, name (nickname) and profile photo provided by that service
- Card information (entered by you): name (Korean and English), company name, job title, mobile and office phone numbers, email, website, address, introduction, additional notes, profile photo, company logo, card design settings, and fields you have hidden on your card
- Card wallet: the list of cards you have received, and notes and meeting places you enter
- Paper card scanning: photos of paper business cards you take or choose, and the card details read from them (name, company name, job title, phone and fax numbers, email, website, address). Text recognition runs on your device, and the photos and details are kept in storage that only you can access.
- Business inquiries: company name, contact person's name, phone number, email, number of users, card design option, and inquiry details
- Business service (GTag for Business)
- Company information: company name (Korean and English), company phone number, address, logo, card design images, plan and contracted number of users
- Employee information entered by the business customer in the admin console: email, name, department, job title (Korean and English), admin role, invitation, employment and departure status with dates, and linked cards
- Files sent by the business customer to apply a card design: original card files (Illustrator or PDF), card images, scans and photos
- Online payments: company name, business registration number (optional), contact person's name, email and phone number, order details and amount, payment method, approval time and transaction number. Card numbers and other payment credentials are handled by the payment gateway and are not stored by the Company.
- Collected automatically: access logs (IP address, browser and device information, access time) may be created while you use the Service.
2. Purposes of use
- Identifying members, signing in, and preventing misuse
- Creating, displaying and sharing digital cards (QR, link, NFC), and keeping received cards and scanned paper cards
- Responding to business inquiries and providing quotes
- Processing payments for the business service, issuing tax invoices, and handling refunds
- Issuing and managing employee cards for business customers: linking invited employees' accounts, applying company information and designs, and managing contracted users
- Investigating errors and improving the Service
3. Visibility of card information
By the nature of the Service, anyone who has the link to your card (including by QR or NFC) can view it. People who receive your card can save its contents to their contacts or as an image. Do not enter information you do not want to share. Card pages are set not to appear in search engines.
4. Processing in the business service
- Employee information entered by a business customer in the admin console is processed on behalf of that customer to manage its business cards, under the contract with that customer.
- Company admins can see their members' list (email, name, department, job title, status) and card links, and set the company-related fields of the cards (company name, logo, design, department, job title, company phone, address). Admins cannot change the mobile number, personal email, photo or introduction that members enter themselves.
- Employees are linked to the company card when they sign in with the email the admin invited. When an employee is marked as having left, the company information is removed and the card remains as their personal card.
5. Retention period
- Member information, cards and card wallet (including scanned card photos): deleted without delay when you delete your account. A scanned card removed from your card wallet is deleted immediately together with its photo.
- Business inquiries: kept for 1 year after the inquiry is handled, then deleted.
- Company and employee information in the business service: deleted within 30 days after the business customer deletes it or the contract ends. The same applies to records of members who have left.
- Original files and scans received to apply a card design: deleted within 30 days after the design is applied.
- Payment records (records of contracts and withdrawals, payments and supply of goods): kept for 5 years as required by the Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
- Where other laws require retention, information is kept for the period they require.
6. Outsourcing and transfer abroad
The Company entrusts the processing of personal information to the following providers to operate the Service. Their servers may be located outside Korea (for example, in the United States).
- Supabase Inc.: authentication, database, image storage
- Vercel Inc.: web hosting
- Resend Inc.: verification and notification emails
- Korea PortOne Inc. and payment gateways (PG): payment processing for the business service
The information transferred is that listed in section 1. It is transmitted over the network when you use the Service and kept until you delete your account.

- NFC (optional): sending cards by tapping phones, and writing your card to NFC stickers
